After graduating from Normal West High School in 2003 and receiving a BFA in lighting design from the University of Illinois in 2007, Jason C. Lindahl moved to New York City. His specialization in media design and custom content creation led him to a career as a designer and video technician. He served as the media designer for the 2007 and 2011 U.S. national exhibits at the Prague Quadrennial Scenographic Exposition, worked as the video technician for Spiderman and Ghost on Broadway, and was a member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE).
The Jason C. Lindahl Memorial Scholarship Fund in Theatre will allow the Department of Theatre to award a scholarship to a junior or senior theatre student specializing in scenic design, scenic technology, lighting and media, sound design, or stage management. Gifts are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
