Sinfonia da Camera Travels the Musical Universe

In a concert set for February 16 at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts, Sinfonia da Camera will journey into the cosmos and with some terrestrial partners will help audience members have close encounters with celestial objects. To accompany a performance highlighting music of the spheres called The Solar System, video screens will feature images of our neighbors in the solar system, a meteorite on loan from the Staerkel Planetarium will be on display, and telescopes courtesy of the Champaign-Urbana Astronomical Society will be available for sky gazing.
