Criteria
- Demonstrated leadership during a period of transition, for a unique project/initiative, and/or to significantly improve college/unit community, health, and wellbeing
- Outstanding individual contribution to support and improve processes, workflow, organization, connectivity, and/or morale or in the management/support of new initiatives/projects within the college/unit
- Evidence of the impact on faculty, staff, and/or students
Award
The award carries a one-time prize of $2,000. The payment will be made through the award payment system in university payroll to the awardee.
Eligibility
A nominee must be a full-time Civil Service or Academic Professional staff member employed within the College of Fine and Applied Arts for at least 36 months by the nomination deadline. Nominees may not receive this award more than once in any five-year period.
Note: Members of the College of Fine and Applied Arts Executive Committee are not eligible for nomination during their period of service to the committee.
Nomination Process
Nominations will be vetted by the unit executive officer after submission to the FAA Dean’s Office. Any FAA faculty or staff member may nominate candidates for this award. Nominators should follow any unit-specific processes/procedures if applicable. The FAA Executive Committee will choose the recipient of the award.
The deadline for nominations is March 25.
