FAA Rubric Course Scheduling

Please use documents in the box folder for:

Add new courses to schedule

  • “ADD fill-in doc” : add all details and add it to the folder for the corresponding term

Making changes to courses

  • “REVISE fill-in doc”: add it to the folder for the corresponding term

Remove courses or sections from schedule

  • “REMOVE fill-in doc” : add all details and add it to the folder for the corresponding term

Student Overrides

  • “FAA override form” and “FAA override requests folder”
    • Overrides are used for courses with “instructor permission only,” major-specific courses, courses restricted by level/year (i.e. seniors only) and are listed in the Course Explorer
    • The instructor converses with the student and, if an override is warranted, the instructor fills out the doc and save it in the corresponding folder
  • An FAA Office Manager will check this 2-3 times per week and when completed, will put it in the Completed folder.
  • An FAA Office Manager will email the student and instructor, utilizing the template in the folder
  • The student will need to register themselves using the course CRN (five digit number) on the enter CRN tab of the student registration system
  • The instructor should double check that the student is registered for the course
  • For any non-FAA rubric courses, reference this list for the appropriate contact person
