Introduction
The College of Fine and Applied Arts strives to create a vibrant and supportive environment where our faculty can reach their highest aspirations.
The mentorship program is intended to provide guidance and support to enable the college’s largest resource—its faculty—to excel in their positions. The mentor-mentee relationship both provides an opportunity to be reflective and allows the mentee to seek constructive and critical, but not evaluative, feedback from a mentor. The mentor-mentee relationship may cover research, teaching, and service, as well as areas of institutional culture, professional relationships, and work-life balance.
If you need assistance to identify and appoint a mentor or would like to serve as one, please contact your unit executive officer.
