Theatre's Lisa Gaye Dixon Builds on a Tradition
As the Ghost of Christmas Present, Lisa Gaye Dixon throws handfuls of glitter and infuses joy into everyone who hears her deep laugh. Now in her second season with the Goodman Theatre's production of A Christmas Carol—a Chicago institution—she continues to amplify her character while she integrates professional work into her teaching schedule. A feature in the News-Gazette includes her thoughts on training students, comments from department head Jeffrey Eric Jenkins, and quotes from alumni Joe Foust and Paige Collins, who join Dixon onstage this year. Performances run through December 27.
