Melting of the Sperry Glacier over three different periods (the top layer is 2015, the middle layer is 1998, and the bottom layer is 1966). The tabletop glacier gets smaller from top to middle to bottom using the three table legs as a z-axis, where two inches equals one year.

Bookshelf made out of reclaimed wood that “symbolizes the biocapacity of Earth, and how we are depleting her resources. As one looks up the bookshelf starting at the floor, the spaces for books get smaller and smaller. As time goes on with no change to humans’ treatment of Earth and her animals, plants, and land, we too will have smaller and smaller amounts of Earth available to use and appreciate. This bookshelf is a reminder that we, as humans, must change how we think of our planet, and how we use all that she has given us.”
