Whether in person or virtually, we are excited to see you! Join us for a College of Fine and Applied Arts information session or a campus Orange and Blue Day. Both are great chances to come to campus during university visit days. You can go on a campus tour, hear from admissions representatives, and learn more about the college. Tours of some units will be available on visit days. We also offer virtual events, including an overview of the College of Fine and Applied Arts and presentations on portfolio tips and talent submission tips.

Join FAA administration for an on-campus information session and get a closer look at the College of Fine and Applied Arts, which houses Architecture, Art and Design, Dance, Landscape Architecture, Music, Sustainable Design, Theatre, and Urban Planning. Don’t forget to sign up for the UIUC Experience and Campus Tour in addition to this information session.

Orange and Blue Days

These large, daylong University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign events are held each fall and spring. You’ll begin your visit with a presentation about life on campus, followed by a Q&A session with current students. Next, you’ll hear about housing and financial aid. After breaking for lunch, you’ll have the chance to attend an information session with the College of Fine and Applied Arts. You then can visit the unit of your choice (Architecture, Art and Design, Dance, Landscape Architecture, Music, Sustainable Design, Theatre, or Urban Planning).

IlliniFest

Join us at IlliniFest on Saturday, October 14, for our biggest open house of the year. With tours, presentations and panels, resource fairs, and more happening across campus from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., you can explore everything Illinois offers entirely on your own schedule. This one-time event will allow you to fully experience life at Illinois through unique programming. The College of Fine and Arts will offer information sessions throughout the day, tours of Krannert Center for the Performing Arts, and more activities. We hope to see you there!

Talent Requirement Events: Art and Design, Dance, Music, and Theatre

Applicants to the Department of Dance, Department of Theatre, School of Art and Design, and School of Music must fulfill talent requirements to complete the application process. School of Art and Design applicants will upload their portfolios to our submission portal. For all performing arts applicants (dance, music, and theatre majors), we will host on-campus audition events, attend festivals/events, and allow virtual auditions for those unable to audition in person. Each performing arts major has specific requirements for auditions, interviews, or portfolios.

UIUC Experience and Campus Tour

Visit the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign during daily information sessions and take tours with admissions counselors. If you schedule a campus event on a day that also offers an FAA information session, you can hear from representatives from our college.
