Strong StArt Program

Strong StArt is a program for incoming incoming freshmen in FAA designed to support new students in the transition from high school to college. As a participant, you will get to campus having a built-in network for success and the opportunity to attend fun workshops and activities.

Program Details

Who can join?

Incoming students can self-select to participate in the program by completing our participant agreement form. We also invite a select group of students based on various academic factors and recommendations from the FAA Admissions and Recruitment.

Benefits

  • Events/sessions to help you get acquainted academically with life on campus and gain a strong understanding of the resources available.
  • One-on-one guidance with support through mentoring.
  • Additional advising support to discuss interests and personal experiences on campus.
  • Monthly email updates highlighting campus support services, events, and academic deadlines.

Mandatory Requirements

Complete the online participant agreement form.

Attend the Strong StArt Welcome on Saturday, August 24, from 11:30 to 1:00 a.m. at the Siebel Center for Design.
